NAICOM CONFIRMS BAYODE SAMUEL NICON’S MD/CEO

Reports reaching the newsroom of the best-selling and most sought after online business and political news publishers, Tectono Business Review, has it that the apex regulatory authority in Nigeria’s insurance market, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Bayode Samuel as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Jimoh Ibrahim’s NICON Insurance Limited.

The confirmation was made known in a letter recently addressed to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NICON Insurance Limited and signed by Mr. Pius Agboola, Director (Authorization and Policy) on behalf of the Commissioner for Insurance.

The Senior Manager (Corporate Affairs) of NICON Insurance Limited, Mr. Ade Adesokan, in a statement in Abuja said that Bayode Samuel’s appointment was part of the Board of Directors’ resolution and firm desire to reposition the company for better service delivery to her esteemed customers and insuring public.

He also said that the new NICON Boss is poised to re-establishing the presence of NICON Insurance Limited as a value creating world player in the Insurance Universe on more by delivering superior financial performance to all its stakeholders.

According to him, Samuel, a renowned technocrat and insurance professional of over 30 years experience was until his new appointment the Executive Director (Technical) of the Company. He was also the former Chief Operating Officer (Branch Acquisition, Network and Operations) of the Company.
