This request was made in order to ameliorate the economic problems facing Enugu State and Nigeria at large.

The best-selling and most sought after online business and political news and articles publishers, Tectono Business Review, got to know about this request when the governor received a delegation of the DFID led by its Head of office in Nigeria, Mr. Ben Mellor, who was in the governor’s office on a courtesy visit.

Mr. Ben Mellor, in his address, extoled Chief Ugwuanyi for his inventiveness in setting up the Economic Advisory Committee. He made it clear that DFID would support Chief Ugwuanyi’s vision for Enugu State and also promised him that his requests would be considered in order to maintain the cordial relationship that exists between the two countries and actualize the set objectives of the agency.
