GOV. UGWUANYI’S ADMINISTRATION PARTNERS WITH ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION

In his quest to improve the socio-economic development in his state, the Governor of Enugu Sate, Rt. Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has resolved that his administration would collaborate with Rockefeller Foundation for the state to reap the benefits of joining the 100 resilient cities of the world.

Tectono Business Review gathered this development when Chief Ugwuanyi received a delegation of the Rockefeller Foundation, New York, led by its Associate Director on City Relations, Liz Tabi Agbor, who paid him a courtesy call at the Government House, Enugu.

Liz Tabi Agbor, thanked the governor for his support and readiness to collaborate with them and guaranteed the state of the foundation’s dedication to help build resilience in Enugu to make it an efficient city for the benefit of the masses

Gburugburu, who was visibly excited over what Enugu would gain from the partnership with the foundation, said that it would usher in radical change that will stimulate the economic background of the state, especially in the area of wealth creation, employment generation, expanded industrial and commercial base and increased availability of modern technology and technical services.

He expressed his gratitude to the Rockefeller Foundation for finding the city of Enugu worthy of the invitation to join the 100 resilient cities of the world, and guaranteed them of his administration’s inclination and disposition to provide all the support that were needed to enhance the swift realization of its set objectives.
