GOV. UGWUANYI PROMISES TO PARTNER WITH HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY TO MOVE ENUGU FORWARD

The Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has made it very clear that the he would continue to work together with the State House of Assembly to move the state forward.

Gburugburu, as Chief Ugwuanyi is called by his admirers, made this known while speaking at a civic reception in honour of the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Chief Hon. Edward Ubosi, by the people of Enugu-East Local Government Area. He expressed his gratitude to the Speaker and the entire members of the House of Assembly for their commitment in moving the state forward.

Chief Ugwuanyi, who is the immediate past Chairman of House of Representative Committee on Marine Transport, also lauded the people of Enugu-East council for their unalloyed support to his administration and begged them not to relent in their efforts to move the state forward.

In his address, the Chairman of Enugu-East L.G.A, Prince Cornelius Nnaji, praised, the governor for what he had been doing in his council, especially in the area of infrastructural development.

In his own speech, the Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Edward Ubosi, promised the governor that the House would not delay any executive bill that is in the interest of the people.

Hon. Ubosi also used the occasion to expresse his appreciation to his fellow legislators in Enugu for electing him the Speaker and assured them that he would pilot the affairs of the House of Assembly with the best of his knowledge. He equally thanked his people for the honour done him, assuring them that he would not disappoint them.
