UNITYKAPITAL ASSURANCE PLC: PUBLIC NOTICE

We refer to our publication in the Daily Trust and Thisday Newspapers of Friday, August 14, 2015 Pages 27 & 51 respectively in response to Regulatory Order imposed on UnityKapital Assurance Plc by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and hereby state that:

1. The Regulatory Order imposed on UnityKapital Assurance Plc on the 30th of July, 2015 is hereby vacated by the Commission.

2. Normal functions of UnityKapital Assurance Plc are restored effective from Tuesday 2nd of February, 2016 by the Commission.

While the earlier publication by NAICOM did not intend to create any negative impression about UnityKapital Assurance Plc to the public and its shareholders, as it was done to quicken the pending divestment exercise, we hereby express our heartfelt appreciation to our clients, Insurance Brokers and shareholders for their support, loyalty and understanding during the period. We reiterate our commitment to continue to offer excellence services.
