ESTATE SURVEYORS HOLDS CAPACITY BUILDING SESSION IN ABUJA

The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Faculty of Valuation and Compensation has concluded plans to boost the knowledge of their members with a capacity building session coming in Abuja this Friday. The training, among other things, is meant to horn the skills of estate surveyors in Nigeria to imbibe the International Best Practices.

This time, issues on World Bank and Bureau of Public Procurement would be discussed. Essentially, the work will dwell on Critical Issues in the Preparation of Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Proposal (Rfp) for Valuation Assignments (World Bank/BPP Procurement Model): Key Requirements and Techniques.

Three parts will feature in the training workshop: the main session, workshop session and review session. According to the Chairman of the Faculty, Mr. David Maseli, the session would significantly impact on the practice of estate surveying in Nigeria, as a vital lessons would be shared with the attendees.
