We must confess that since we
started operations in the year 2013, we have never used any other network apart
from MTN for internet connectivity. This is the line we use in our modem: 08106480472. We have always had series
of problems with MTN that has to do with data theft. We have also heard, severally, how MTN defraud
customers of their data. So, why should MTN derive pleasure and satisfaction
from defrauding customers?
The data theft we cannot bear any
longer happened last week. On the 9th of
May, 2016, we went to MTN office at Ozone
Cinema located at Sabo, Yaba, Lagos to subscribe for 3.5GB data which cost us the sum of N2,000. The name of the
employee that attended to us is Valarie.
After transferring data to our line, she could not subscribe to any plan owing
to bad network. We had to do the subscription the following day, 10th of May, 2016. That was the day we
started using it. We decided to subscribe for 3.5GB owing to the fact
throughout the month of May, we do not have much work to do with the internet. We
only used it only for checking mails, Facebook, and visiting few websites which
did not last up to one hour per day. We neither downloaded nor uploaded
anything.
Much to our chagrin and consternation,
the data got exhausted on the 16th of May, 2016. Our question is why should
3.5GB data get exhausted within six days without using it up to one hour per
day? We went back to MTN office to lay this complaint but were told that we
used up the data by ourselves. This is totally fallacious. We therefore call on
MTN to return our stolen 3.5GB data
with immediate effect. Failure to do this will orchestrate taking this case to
the next level. Enough is enough!!!
We have been loyal customers of
MTN for many years. Why should they continue defrauding us? We have wasted a
lot of money on this network without getting the value we wanted. We have
gotten tired of throwing our money into the waste bin. We are aware that other
networks give free data to their loyal customers. We are prepared to switch to
another network and continue telling the world our bad experience with MTN.
