AGRO-EXPORT: SHIPPING CONGLOMERATE, SIFAX GROUP, MOVES TO SUPPORT FARMERS

SIFAX Group has assured Nigerian farmers willing to export their agricultural produce of its readiness to support them. The company explained that it had strategically positioned itself at both the seaport and airport as the first choice for all exporters in the country.

In a statement by the company’s Corporate Affairs Manager,  Muyiwa Akande , the group with investment in maritime, aviation, oil & gas, haulage & logistics, financial services and hospitality, made the pledge at the just concluded Meet the Farmers Conference which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Akanded said that the farmers conference was an international agriculture conference and exhibition where farmers, airlines, potential investors, logistics companies and senior government officials, among others meet to foster partnerships and development of Africa’s agricultural potential.

Also, the company’s Group Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi,  who was the guest speaker at the conference, explained the company had the capacity, experience, equipment and workforce, to help the farmers export their goods either through the sea or air.

Afolabi, who was represented by the Executive Director of the group, Compliance, Mariam Afolabi,  noted that “SIFAX Group is your go-to-company and one-stop export services company. We pride ourselves one of the few companies in Nigeria with complementary logistics supply chain services for exporters to various parts of the world.”

On his part, the Group Managing director of the company, Mr. Adekunle Oyinloye, who was one of the panelists at the conference, explained that SIFAX Group had invested in the right mix of human and equipment so that it could meet the expectations of its clients.
He noted that the company had been positioned at both the seaport and airport as the first choice for all exporters in the country.
