EXPORT COUNCIL PLANS TO OPEN GLOBAL MARKET FOR WOMEN EXPORTERS

The Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Olusegun Awolowo, has made it clear that the “Shetrade” programme is moving swiftly to release global markets as well as digital platform for women entrepreneur in the country.

Hmmm!!! Folks, let us say the truth and shame the devil. Many Nigerian non-oil products exporters have been defrauded of huge amount of money in the process of exporting agricultural commodities and solid minerals to foreign countries. Do you know why? They were not trained on export operations, management, documentations and the best methods of payment in export trade. This is terrible!!! Nigerians cannot continue to lose money to foreigners in the course of export business. Exporters, would you like to keep on being scammed? Why don’t you get a practical manual that explains the stages of export trade from processing and packaging of commodities to receipt of payment by the foreign buyers? It explains export operations, export management, export documentations and methods of payment in export trade? Yes, it is a contemporary step-by-step guide to export trade. It tells all the contemporary dynamics in export trade. To get it, click on this link: http://www.tectono-business.com/2016/02/contemporary-step-by-step-guide-to.html

Awolowo, represented by the Director, Policy and Strategy, Evelyn Obidike, stated at the Shetrade Public Dialogue on Women-Owned Business and Public Procurement in Nigeria, that this will provide women with the opportunity to connect to buyers, investors and new markets.

According to him, it is also a platform that encourages stakeholders across governments and the private sector to address shortcomings and advance women’s economic empowerment.

Extra-smart Nigerians are getting shares of the new Lagos by acquiring plots, acres and hectares of land at Ibeju Lekki . What are you waiting for? Click: http://www.tectono-business.com/2019/07/have-share-of-new-lagos-by-investing-in.html

Awolowo noted that gender equality and the empowerment of women is a prerequisite in achieving the Global Development Goals on sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations, setting up an ambitious agenda for 2030. (Nation)
