In a
statement, the group said that the move was a good development and showed that
the governor would deliver on his campaign promises to the people of the state.
According to the group’s spokesman, Mr.
Chidi Enechi, the group was happy that the governor had decided open
up Nsukka town for many opportunities, after being neglected for decades by
previous administrations.
The group’s
spokesman said that the people of the Nsukka and the whole of Enugu at
large would be grateful about this effort and called on Governor Ugwuanyi to
make good his promise to modernise the town. He said that the people of
the area will remain grateful to the governor for such developmental
effort and therefore called on the governor to remain focused on developing the
state, adding that this will continue to attract other development partners who
would be interested in various investments.
