FINALLY, BUHARI TRANSMITS MINISTERIAL LIST TO THE SENATE

Muhammadu Buhari, President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
Finally, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, has handed the list of 36 ministers to his Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang, for onward transmission to the Senate.

Tectono Business Review gathered that at the sideline of the United Nations meeting in New York, President Buhari handed Senator Enang the list where he was attending the United Nations General Assembly.

We gathered that Senator Enang left New York for Nigeria with the list on Sunday night for onward delivery to the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki. The President directed the liaison officer to either handover the list to Saraki on Tuesday at the resumption of the plenary or on Wednesday, depending on the mood of the upper legislative chamber.

However, Tectono Business Review has not been able to identify the names on the list that is in Mr. Ita Enang’s possession but a top All Progressive Congress (APC) source told us that General Abdulrahman Dambazzau and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi are on the President’s list.

We also gathered that the two key individuals are presently attending the United Nations meeting with President Buhari. Yes, it would be recalled that President Buhari had assured Nigerian’s of his determination to release the ministerial list before the end of September.
