Rt. Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu State Governor
The governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has described the dead first Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Chief Prof. Julius Onuora Onah (Okosisi I of Orba) as a motivational father whose admirable, excellent and praiseworthy life led many people to greater heights.

Yes, Governor Ugwuanyi made this description when he spoke before eminent Nigerians at Orba in Udenu Local Area of Enugu State during the burial ceremony of the first Professor of Marketing in West Africa and also the first University of Nigeria Nsukka graduate to be made a Professor by the same university, Prof. Julius Onah.

The governor advised his contemporaries to emulate Prof. Onah by distinguishing themselves in their various disciplines and to do everything possible to depict them as role models to the younger generation as late Prof. Onah had done.

The Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Most Rev. Godfrey Onah, while speaking, urged people who aspire to achieve greatness on earth to follow the path of sincerity as exemplified in the life of the late scholar, adding that he was a good man.

The Bishop observed that Prof Onah’s exemplary leadership and academic prowess reflected by his first positions in various endeavours, which he said, had affected lives of both the small and the great, who had continued to look up to him as a role model even at death.
