DR. ADE YUSUF BECOMES MD OF PREMIER PAINTS PLC

As part of the ongoing plans to reposition the company for better performance, the board of Premier Paints Plc has approved the appointment of Dr. Ade Yusuf as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

While he resumed duty in April 2017, Tectono Business Review gathered that Dr. Yusuf fast-tracked the auditing of the company’s 2016 financial records, which was submitted to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and was approved by NSC on Monday, July 10, 2017.

It could be recall that the company’s shares trading were among those suspended by NSE in July 5, 2017, for failing to submit audited annual reports within the stipulated deadline. The delay to submit the audited reports was as a result of the resignation of the former Managing Director/CEO.

Established in 1982 and quoted as public company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1995, Premier Paints has remained a leading producer of wood finishes, decorative and industrial coatings.
