Business Review has it that the All Progressive Congress (APC) members in Enugu
North Senatorial District have started consultation with various stakeholders
in the zone to recall the Senator representing zone, Senator Chuka Utazi, for what they termed the senator’s nefarious
and unpatriotic action of seconding the motion for impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The
decision was taken during the APC extra-ordinary meeting held at Elrina Hotels in
Nsukka, Enugu State on Sunday, 29th of April, 2018.
Also during
meeting, the political party expressed its disappointment over some clandestine
meetings going on in the zone in a bid to hijack the upcoming congress and also
the use of such meetings as a platform to attack the Minister of Foreign
Affairs who doubles as the leader of the party in the state, Geoffrey Onyema.
The
meeting was attended by members of the State Executive Committee of the party
and stakeholders in the senatorial district.
