Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa |
The real estate billionaire, who
spoke to newsman in Lagos, accentuated the litany of achievements of the
archbishop both in the vineyard of the Lord and the secular world.
“In history, there have
been few women whose names were synonymous with change and achievements in a world
where men predominantly call the shots, especially in Christendom. I, Chief Ugwokeh
Nnaemeka, must confess that I am proud that our spiritual mother, Archbishop
Margret Benson-Idahosa, has outshined all her peers. As an avid preacher of the
gospel, spiritual mother to many and a leader of the ministry into which God
called her, she has become an example to every woman and girl child of God’s
beautiful plan for womanhood. Her achievements in Christendom give a testimony
of what God can do for a woman when she gives herself to Him. Yes, the
possibilities are endless.
“It is on record that
within the shores of Nigeria and around the world, our mummy has positively
impacted the lives of many and transformed souls to embrace the gospel of our
Lord, Jesus Christ. Her exemplary personal life and inspiring ministry have
both combined, in addition to God’s abundant Grace, to give meaning and
fulfillment to many who have crossed her path,” the property tycoon said
The Executive Chairman of Tectono Ventures Limited went further
to speak on the archbishop’s late husband, Archbishop
Benson Idahosa. He said, “Many of us can still
remember our mummy’s husband, Archbishop Benson Idahosa. He was the founder of
Pentecostal church in Nigeria. Through his miracle ministries, lives of people
all over the world were transformed. He made the President of Dangote Group,
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, what he is today. He healed the sick, raised the dead and
planted some big corporations we have today. He also founded Benson Idahosa
University. Virtually all the big pastors and big churches we have in Nigeria
today understudied him.”
“As I celebrate our
mummy today, my wish and prayer for her is for the Almighty God to continue to
empower her with his anointing, grant her good health, long life and plant her
feet on higher grounds in Jesus name,” Chief Nnaemeka concluded.
