CELEBRATION OF THE SUNDAY OF THE WORD OF GOD: Today is the celebration of the Sunday of the Word of God for this year. Today, we shall have the Enthronement of the Word of God in all the parishes in the Archdiocese.

FROM THE PARISH PRIEST’S DESK

ST. STEPHEN’S PARISHIONERS WELCOME NEW PRIESTS: The entire Parishioners of St. Stephen’s Parish happily welcome the new Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Oke, and his Associate Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Azagba, to the Parish. We pray that God grants them fruitful and spirit-filled stay as they carry out their pastoral ministry.

CATECHISM CLASSES: Catechism classes are already in progress. Catechumen who have not joined are free to do so. Parents and guardians are encouraged to allow their wards to come for the catechism.

DEVELOPMENT/PROJECT COLLECTION: Today is our parish development/project collection Sunday. Parishioners are encouraged to donate generously N1,000; N500; or N200 towards the development of the church.

INFANT BAPTISM: Parishioners who want their children to be baptized on the first week of February are encouraged to pick the baptism forms from the Parish Catechist. Baptismal instruction will hold on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

REDEMPTION OF COMMITMENT PLEDGE

Parishioners are also encouraged to redeem their commitment pledge by installments with the Parish Finance team at the basement of the church at the end of every Mass. May God bless you as you do so. Amen.
