HONK KONG SURPASSES US AS WEB3 GLOBAL HUB

Industry experts have disclosed that the persistence of Hong Honk in setting up the city as the epicenter for the digital asset, #blockchain, and #Web3 industries has thrown up the city ahead of the United States, the nation that previously led the #crypto space.

The latest effort to develop Hong Kong as a Web3 hub was the organization of the Task Force aimed at promoting the Web3 sector.

The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region made a statement that the authority announced the establishment of the Task Force, consisting of 11 government officials and 15 non-official members.

A Hong Kong- domiciled entrepreneur, Yat Siu, who co-founded #Animoca Brands, a Web3 investment firm, is among the 15 industry experts invited to the Task Force’s advisory committee.

Siu shared his enthusiasm that the establishment of the Task Force would help enhance the global adoption of blockchain technology.
