reaching the newsroom of the best-selling and most sought after online business
news publishers, Tectono Business Review, has it that a billionaire business
baron and Chairman of Oranto Petroleum Limited, Prince Engineer Arthur Eze, has started the process of instituting
a N2billion suit against a
commercial bank, Wema Bank Plc, and
a print media firm before a Federal High Court in Lagos for character
assassination and injury done to his reputation and that of his various
business concerns owing to the recent publication of his name as a chronic
debtor and one of the Directors of Genesis
Electricity Limited.
The business
kingpin and dynast made it clear that he is not one of the owners of the
electricity company, Genesis Electricity Limited, as alleged by Wema Bank.
In a
statement; Eze N’Ukpo, as Prince
Arthur Eze is popularly known; stated that he had instructed his lawyers to swiftly
file a N2billion suit against the bank and the national daily for libel.
According to him, he is a trustworthy business magnate with several business
investments across board and not a chronic debtor as he was made to appear
before members of the public by Wema Bank and the national daily.
