a delegation of the DFID led by its Head of office in Nigeria, Mr. Ben Mellor, who was in the
governor’s office on a courtesy visit.
Mr. Ben
Mellor, in his address, extoled Chief Ugwuanyi for his inventiveness in setting
up the Economic Advisory Committee. According to him, it is a paramount venture
capable of helping the government to achieve its four-point agenda anchored on
continuity and consolidation. He made it clear that DFID would support Chief
Ugwuanyi’s vision for Enugu State and also promised him that his requests would
be considered in order to maintain the cordial relationship that exists between
the two countries and actualize the set objectives of the agency.
The visibly

sustainable development in Enugu State and dedication to continue to partner
with the state on the issues of inclusive growth, continuity and consolidation
of the laudable programmes of the state government. According to him, the

be beneficial to the entire south east states in terms of investment promotion
