GTBANK: BANK WITH PERPETUAL EMPTY WATER DISPENSER AND NO TOILET TISSUE

Our publishing firm, Tectono Business Review, and its sister company bank exclusively with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTBank).  In view of its proximity to our office, we chose to do all our transactions at the Ojuelegba road branch of the bank.

If you do bank with GTBank, you will know how crowded all the branches are at all times. Each time we go to the Ojuelegba branch of the bank for any transaction, we are made to queue up for excess of an hour in a crowded banking hall. It is natural that customers become thirsty or want to use the toilet.

We discovered that since last year, each time we want to drink water from the water dispenser in the banking hall, it is empty. Each time we want to use the toilet, we discover that there is no toilet tissue. The cleaners and security men always tell us that the manager did not make provisions for them. What sort of nonsense is this?

Does it mean that one of the top-ranking banks in Nigeria cannot provide water and toilet tissue for its teeming customers? So, all the bank wants is to make money with the customers without providing the basic needs for them in the process of doing business.

Let someone tell us why we should not look for a better bank that has the interest of its customers at heart to do business with.
