that Mrs. Adeosun met separately with each of the country directors in her
office, in Abuja, a few days ago. We learnt that during the meetings, she solicited
for a continuous cooperation and assistance from each of the organizations
which had been undertaking various developmental projects and programmes
towards the socio-economic advancement of the nation.
The minister

of President Muhammadu Buhari was unwavering
in ensuring a judicious use of all resources at its disposal and that it would appreciate
cooperation from them.
The
brilliant United Kingdom-trained economist communicated the plans by the
federal government to diversify the nation’s economy with a view to paying
greater attention to the solid minerals sector and agriculture, while
increasing power sector capacity in order to create more opportunities in the
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs sector.
In his
remark, World bank country director, Rachid Benmessaoud, told Mrs. Adeosun that
the organization had been a long-standing Nigeria’s partner in her development
efforts and that it would diligently work towards a successful implementation
of all its projects in the country.
