Wow!!! Folks, Enugu State is
blessed to have a great business and political colossus and titan like Chief Oscar Okwume (Ikeogu Ndigbo). The
political history of Enugu cannot be completely written without his name
appearing. It is on record that this man contributed immensely to the
gubernatorial victory of Rt. Hon.
Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi in 2015 by delivering his local government and virtually
all the local governments in Enugu North Senatorial Districts to the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
Ikeogu Ndigbo is a man well loved
by both the elites and the masses. He is the Senior Special Assistant to the
governor of Enugu State on Environment. He has also achieved a lot as the
Director General of Ovogovo United for
Gburugburu.
In case you do not know, Agency, as Chief Okwume is widely known
as, is not only politically influential in Enugu State. He is also a prominent
politician in Rivers State. The governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesome Wike, cannot take some political decisions without
consulting him.
Ikeogu Ndigbo is someone who
became very wealthy at a very young age. He is a seasoned Engineer, businessman
and certified waste management professional. He is the Founder and Chief
Executive Officer of Oscar Agency
Industrial Limited, a world class company known for oilfield engineering,
oil and gas services, equipment maintenance, oil spills cleaning and waste
management in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Obviously, Chief Okwume is one of the very few
Nigerians that joined politics as very wealthy professionals. If you know what
this man has achieved at his age, you will be marveled. He is always willing to
contribute is skills, wealth of exposure and experience towards to development
of Enugu State. Yes, he is one of the people that should be encouraged to take
very prominent political positions in Nigeria. His aim of joining politics is
not to amass wealth. Rather, it is for service.
