PUBLIC NOTICE: LAGOS INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE & REGULATORY AGENCY (LASIMRA)

Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance & Regulatory Agency (LASMIRA) in accordance with its statutory duty is obliged to inform all Banks and other financial institutions such as Mortgage Banks, Microfinance Banks, Finance House and Capital Market Operators, Internet Services Providers (ISPs), Downstream Oil Operators, Television and Radio Broadcasting Outfits and other companies with communication infrastructure located within the geographical boundaries of Lagos State of the following:

· The need to change Ungalvanized Old Hollow Pipes masts within their premises to Angular Hot Dip Zinc Galvanized Towers in ensuring Safety & Standard within 14 days of this public notice.

· The need to regularize the erection of Tower or Masts in their business premises in line with the status setting up the Agency.

The Mandatory Specifications of Tower are as follows:

v Towers /masts will be between the heights of 30m – 50m.

v Basic Wind Speed 40m/s

v Antenna loading 4sqm.

v The Tower must be three (3) legged.

v The Tower must be Hot Dip, Galvanized Steel manufactured under international standard.

v The Tower must be made up of angular steel profiles.

v Span leg – between 2m up to 4m maximum, depending on the space of the site.
