In the past weeks, the Marriage Management Matters (3M) has been busy with various forms of challenges concerning husbands cheating on their wives. We have tried to help the situations by encouraging wives to pay attention to their calling which is management of the home front, including their men.

It is important to note that this issue is not easy for any woman to comprehend but they should keep it behind them owing to the fact that the enemy of marriage is always plotting various strategies to disrupt every home, causing long time strife among couples, extending to unhappiness and emotional concerns to the wards in these marriages.

Let us examine the accounts from the creature of the universe in Genesis 2:18, “The Lord God said: It is not good for the man to be alone; I will give him a suitable companion.” Some other Bible verses refer it as companion and helper. Wives need to have a clear understanding of this verse. It simply tells that wives are in the vocation of helping their husbands, children, family and the nation.

So, we want to seriously mention here that any man involved in cheating on his wife needs help. Paul mentioned in Galatians 5:7, “You had begun your race well, who then hindered you on the way? Why did you stop obeying the truth?” Please, kindly reflect on the line again with the understanding that marriage is designed for mature men and mature minds and hearts. So, before entering into this vocation, men understood well and started well but during the course of the journey, the enemy with wrong ideal began to mislead men and they separate themselves from the truth concerning happy union.

Wives, you need to help your cheating men by first having it in mind that they are not in the best frame of mind. They have been poisoned in following the evil way that leads to destruction. We will continue to examine steps that are expected of wives to help their men from calamity. Please, remain at the peace and love of the Lord.
