FROM THE ARCHBISHOP’S DESK

TRANSFER OF THE PARISH PRIEST: The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Vincent Olofinkua, has been transferred. He will be going to St. Augustine’s College of Education, Akoka. The names of the new priests are:

Rev. Fr. Peter Oke (Parish Priest)

Rev. Fr. Peter Azagba (Assistant Parish Priest)

OBSERVATION OF COVID-19 PROTOCOL: The protocol for COVID-19 must be strictly observed in all parishes, bearing in mind that it’s second wave is very much around.

FROM THE PARISH PRIEST’S DESK

FEAST OF THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD: Today’s feast day, the Baptism of the Lord, marks the end of the Christmas season. From tomorrow, the ordinary season of the year begins. The vestment colour of the priest will be green.

SUNDAY AND OTHER MASSES: Masses on Sundays and others days have gone back to normal as it is in the front-page of the bulletin.

CATECHISM CLASSES: Catechism classes begin today. All catechumen should please take note. Parents and guardians are encouraged to allow their wards to come for catechism.

Parishioners are also encouraged to redeem their commitment pledge by installments with the Parish Finance team at the basement of the church at the end of every Mass. May God bless you as you do so. Amen.
