research into those areas where gaps exist in the delivery of effective and
efficient corporate security services and those skill development areas that
practitioners require to enhance career growth and in so doing become relevant
and competent in their workplaces.
To enhance learning, we ensure
that virtually all our training courses have some elements of field exercises
that take participants away from study to apply what has been learned to what
is practical and obtainable in the field. This forms a significant part of
course assessment.
SSDC is managed by a team of
experts in risk and security management with a background in Military, Police,
and Intelligence services. Some of our team members have also successfully
served in several blue-chip companies as Security Directors and Chief Security
Officers, Business managers, Media Practitioners, and Academics.
