UP YOUR GAME OR I’LL LEAVE, RONALDO THREATENS MANCHESTER UNITED

Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester United hit-man, Cristiano Ronaldo, has made it clear to the club’s management that he would leave if the squad is not strengthened for next season by signing new good players.

“Up your game or I’ll leave,” he said.

AFRICUNIA TV gathered that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner had discussed extensively with the new manager, Erik ten Hag, on the necessity of making new signings to rebuild the squad.

In spite of interest in Darwin Nunez, who has signed for Liverpool, Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, and Ajax winger, Antony, Manchester United has not successfully signed any player.

It can be recalled that Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer, 13 years after leaving for Real Madrid.

Although he netted 24 times in 38 games in all competitions, United could only finish sixth in the Premier League.

The current contact of the 37-year-old erstwhile Sporting Lisbon and Juventus superstar runs out next year.
