AFRICUNIA BANK PARTNERS WITH GRACIOUS FARMERS ALUU MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE ON AGRIC GRANT PROJECT

AFRICUNIA BANK
has signed a mutually beneficial partnership agreement with GRACIOUS FARMERS ALUU MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE, a River State-based organization incorporated to promote mutual financial and educational understanding amongst members, encourage the economic growth of every member, assist existing farmers expand and sustain positive productivity, encourage potential and intending farmers to achieve the aim and encourage diversification in areas of agriculture, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, etc so as to improve the country’s exportation strength .
 
The need to work together on AFRICUNIA BANK/SPARCO BANK AGRIC GRANT PROJECT which supports local farmers in Nigeria through training, seminars, education and micro/macro business empowerment precipitated the partnership.
 
According to the terms of the partnership, AFRICUNIA BANK will economically empower GRACIOUS FARMERS ALUU MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE through sustainable grants and aiding its business proposals financially, take on various humanitarian projects and relief-oriented roles in Nigeria through the NGO, support local economic projects.
 
On the other hand, GRACIOUS FARMERS ALUU MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE will promote and publicize the grant, as well as promote AFRICUNIA BANK and its sister subsidiaries across Nigeria, organize seminars and trainings across Nigeria and beyond, monitor and supervise grant recipients to ensure their businesses run smoothly.
 
In view of its wide frontier and tentacle in River State, the multipurpose cooperative will bring in 170,000 – 190,000 members to the bank as well as open the floor to all 23 local government councils in the state for the bank.
 
It is can be regurgitated that SPARCO BANK signed a global strategic partnership and joint venture with AFRICUNIA BANK earlier in the year which orchestrated the $5billion grant for the development of agriculture.
 
AFRICUNIA BANK had earlier signed partnership agreements with five other non-governmental organizations like New Dawn Humanitarian Foundation, Ishiba Development and Empowerment Centre NGO, Wealthfield Group International, Blossom Life Foundation, and Ukwuani Bu Anieze Development Initiative Association.
