Representatives of AFRICUNIA BANK, on invitation by BLOSSOM LIFE FOUNDATION, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) headquartered
in Abuja, Nigeria and member of the NGO Community in Nigeria, visited Onyangede
community in Benue State on August 15, 2022.
The visit became imperative in order to sensitize farmers
in the rural community on the ongoing SPARCO
BANK/AFRICUNIA BANK AGRIC GRANT.

TV gathered that more than 500 farmers, both registered
members of the Blossom Life Foundation and other members of the community, turned-up
for the event which was held at LGEA Primary School, Abakpa in Ohimini Local
Government Area of the state.
The top-notch bank, which is known worldwide for
working with various partners in numerous countries to promote sustainable
development with special focus on financial empowerment, farming, healthcare,
advancement of children, youth and women amongst other services, was
represented by the Executive Secretary, Madeleine
Winkler, Communication Manager, Joseph
idoni, Marketing Manager, Naomi
Jatto, and AFCASH Ambassador, Elyz
Peters.
The bank’s team and state executives of the foundation
paid a visit to the traditional ruler of the community to inform him of their
intention on farmers in the community.
During the event, speeches were made by both
representatives of AFRICUNIA BANK and Blossom Life Foundation. All the farmers
expressed their excitement over the agricultural grant and promised to commence
registration for it soon.
Speaking to newsmen at the event, the National
President of Blossom Life Foundation, Comrade
Dr Israel Edward, expressed his profound gratitude to AFRICUNIA BANK for
coming up with such a huge project aimed at helping farmers in Nigeria and
Africa at large.
Commenting on the integrity of the bank, Comrade
Edward made it clear that he had been able to Google search for the bank and
discovered its programmes, modus operandi, and processes which he described as
being excellent. He expressed the preparedness of his team to work on the project
and make it a very successful one.
It can be regurgitated that in order to galvanize a
seamless disbursement of the SPARCO BANK/AFRICUNIA BANK AGRIC GRANT to farmers
in every nook and cranny of Nigeria, AFRICUNIA BANK had earlier partnered with
four non-governmental organization like: New
Dawn Humanitarian Foundation, Ishiba
Development And Empowerment Centre NGO, Wealthfield Group International and Ukwuani Bu Anieze Development Initiative Association.
