Speaking on the possibility of
procuring the party’s governorship ticket, one of the senator’s aides said that
he is the only person who has the required credentials to challenge the
incumbent governor.

State has ever produced. As a newbie in the senate, he became the Chairman of
Senate Committee on Information and the mouthpiece of the entire senate. Who
has ever attained that feat? The present Enugu State governor spent 12 years in
the House of Representative without any single contribution to any debate. Ayogu Eze attracted innumerable developmental
project to his constituency, secured employment and gave many scholarships. He
is loved by Enugu people who cannot wait to vote him in as a governor,” he added.
