VOTE OF THANKS SPEECH MADE BY THE CEO OF VENDABUY, DIETER WIPF, AT THE COMPANY’S ORIENTATION PROGRAMME AT UNILAG

My name is Dieter Wipf and I am the CEO of VENDABUY. It’s an honor to have been asked to offer a vote of thanks on the occasion of this volunteer orientation. On behalf of VENDABUY and the entire management group here, I express a very hearty gratitude to all the speakers for sharing their insights today. It has been our tribute to host and accommodate all humans regardless of colour, creed, religion or social status and with VENDABUY it's no different, thus I am thankful to all the volunteers and participants for attending this orientation programme. We have been fortunate to have you and I am sure that our organisation will continue to get significant provision from the diverse groups in the near future. I take this occurrence to thank the orientation organisers (WEVO), ably represented by Mr. David.

To the AFRICUNIA TV Crew, you are the best. You executed it flawlessly. I'm personally impressed and therefore thank you so much. Further, a big “Thanks” to Miss Deborah, the AFRICUNIA TV Project Manager, for your efforts towards anchoring today’s programme. It was excellent. Special thanks go to Miss Anita for sharing with us some of the finest platform navigation practices even on last minute notice. All the participants of this orientation are all inspired by your highly skilled and sparkling words. I also want to extend my generous thanks to the University of Lagos for providing us the hall. You are appreciated.

I must remark a proficient sense of gratefulness to Mrs. Madeleine Winkler, our Executive Secretary, who has personally been the strength of this VENDABUY project and has gone out of her way to sacrifice her comfort zone in Switzerland and moved to Nigeria. It's immense and it must be honourably appreciated. It’s not possible to thank everyone for such an appreciating involvement and the willingness you have expressed to finish the tasks assigned to you all, to this end I say a big thank you all.
