While speaking on volunteering
and volunteerism, Mr. David accentuate the various areas of volunteering such
as social capital volunteering, skilled-based volunteering, environmental
volunteering, volunteering in schools, etc. He mentioned instances where he
volunteered for companies without demanding for payment. He went ahead to highlight
the benefits of volunteering such as networking, skills building, career
development and others. He ended his speech by enjoining all participants to
volunteer for Vendabuy.
In her own speech, the Executive
Secretary of Africunia Ecosystem, an umbrella company which Vendabuy is a
subsidiary of, Mrs. Madelein Winkler,
highlighted the products and services of
the subsidiary companies under the Africunia Ecosystem such as Africunia Bank,
Africunia Blockchain, AFCASH, Africunia TV, Excoinical, Vendacity, Isendom,
Vendabuy, Jointium, Pangram, Multislog, Collab and Teleference. Before she came
on stage to speak, her interview on TVC, where she spoke on Africunia Bank and
Blockchain Technology was played on u-tube for the participants.
Thereafter, the Marketing Manager
of Vendabuy, Miss Udoka Anita Ikebuwa,
went into details while explaining how to navigate through the Vendabuy’s
website, especially how to register and make money as a marketer and also how
to register sellers of all kinds of legitimate products on the platform. Thereafter,
there were questions from participants which were elucidated by either Miss
Udoka, Mrs. Winkler or the President of Africunia Ecosystem, Don Chancellor. Virtually all participants
showed interest in marketing for the e-commerce platform. The event came to an
end with a vote of thanks made by the CEO of Vendabuy, Mr. Dieter Frank Wifp.
