IS CHRIST THE KING IN YOUR MARRIAGE?

You are welcome to this week’s edition of Marriage Management Matters (3M) on Tectono Business Review. In commemoration of Christ the king, lord of lords, king of kings and the master of the universe, we urge married people to use this opportunity once more to evaluate the place of Jesus Christ in their marriages. Remember that marriage involves the coming together of two separate individuals, families and towns with the mentality of ensuring one happy family, home and blissful union. This may not be easily achieved without the better comprehension of the roles of Christ the king in the marriage.

As we celebrate this year’s Christ the king of the universe, let us carefully take into consideration this bible exhortation in Proverb 8:35: “For whoever finds me finds life and obtain favour from the Lord.” So, irrespective of what your marriage is going through today, we beg of you to be patient. The king of kings is telling us today:

· To stop worrying and know that I am God (Ps.46:10)

· To taste and see that the Lord is good (Ps. 34:8)

· That He will never fail you or abandon you (Joshua 1:5)

· That no one who comes to Him will He turn away empty (Jn.6:37)

There is a consolation word here from the father of the Indian nation, Mahata Ghandi, which says: “I hate Christians but I love the teaching of Jesus Christ and his ways of life.” Another person, Theodore Dreiser, ridiculed all religion as fairy tales and regarded life as a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Yet, he advocated the one great principle taught by Jesus which is service to others.

What is your marriage like? Are you ready to bring in the Messiah to it? Remember that if you find Him, you will find life and you will obtain favour from the Lord irrespective of your need! Remain favoured in your union with Christ and enjoy crisis free marriage. Amen. Till we meet again next week.
