The
collaboration arrangement was revealed by the Research Manager (Humanities
Cluster), Centre for Research Development and In-House Training, University of
Ilorin, Professor Yahya Imam, in
Ilorin.
Hmmm!!!
Folks, let us say the truth and shame the devil. Many Nigerian non-oil products
exporters have been defrauded of huge amount of money in the process of
exporting agricultural commodities and solid minerals to foreign countries. Do
you know why? They were not trained on export operations, management,
documentations and the best methods of payment in export trade. This is
terrible!!! Nigerians cannot continue to lose money to foreigners in the course
of export business. Exporters, would you like to keep on being scammed? Why
don’t you get a practical manual that explains the stages of export trade from
processing and packaging of commodities to receipt of payment by the foreign
buyers? It explains export operations, export management, export documentations
and methods of payment in export trade? Yes, it is a contemporary step-by-step
guide to export trade. It tells all the contemporary dynamics in export trade.

Imam noted
that the partnership is a channel for CRIN staff members to gain knowledge at
the University of Ilorin at Master and Doctoral levels. He further stated that:
“It will also afford undergraduates and staff of the
university the opportunity to benefit from the experience of CRIN experts.”
The
research manager noted that the goal of the concerted effort is to create
viable and sustainable cultivation of cashew through massive production – which
will further add to its value chain. http://www.tectono-business.com/2016/02/contemporary-step-by-step-guide-to.html
The cashew project is one of the CRIN’s research development goals, from which
a variety of cashew called, Brazilian Jumbo was created. The Brazilian Jumbo is
a breed whose nuts develop in a year, in variance to the local variety which
matures after 5 years.
According
to Imam, cashew nut shell contains inedible Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL), which consists of 15 per cent of
the gross weight, while the nut contains Cashew Nut Kernel Oil (CNKO), which is
sweet edible oil.
He
also explained that the CNSL contains high proportion of phenolic compounds,
used in the production of water proofing agents, preservatives for the
production of paints and plastics, as well as substances for making brake
lining compounds. (Tribune)
