NAICOM CANCELS OPERATION LICENSE OF UNIC INSURANCE PLC

Information at our disposal has it that the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has revoked the operation license of UNIC Insurance Plc. This was made know via a publication made by the Commission which was made available to
Tectono Business Review.

PUBLIC NOTICE ON CANCELLATION OF OPERATION LICENSE OF UNIC INSURANCE PLC – RIC 043
This is to notify the general public/policy holders that, in exercise of powers conferred on her by enabling laws, the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has cancelled the operation license issued hitherto to UNIC Insurance Plc – RIC 043 to operate as Insurance Company with effect from March 25, 2021.
 
Consequently, the Commission has appointed Hadiza Baba Gimba as the Receiver/Liquidator to wind-up the affairs of the Company. The contact address of the Receiver/Liquidator is as follows.
