AIRTEL NETWOKS LIMITED ANNOUNCES OFFER TO BUY BACK ITS OWN SHARES

Airtel Networks Limited (a subsidiary of Airtel Africa Plc who is a leading provider of telecommunication and mobile money services with presence in 14 countries across Africa) announces that it has initiated a process under which it seeks to buy back 8.27% of its own shares at an offer price of N55.81 per share.

This represents an open offer to all shareholders and is not a squeeze out process.
