The exit of the seven times
Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi,
from FC Barcelona has created a yawning vacuum in the club’s attack which no
one has been able to fill.
We gathered
that the quest for Messi’s replacement by the Spanish giant is becoming a
reality having penciled Gaucho Ronaldinho's son, Joao Mendes, who currently plays in the Brazilian league.
Joao Mendes, who just turned 15
years, has already rejected contracts from a number of European clubs,
especially PSG, to continue playing Brazil.
The world is getting to know that
Ronaldinho's son has shown in his short career that he has skills that are very
similar to his father and that is the reason why many European clubs are
falling over each other to sign him.
It can be recalled that Ronaldinho
was a career mentor to Lionel Messi when the later joined the first team of FC
Barcelona. The Brazilian groomed and guided him to become the best player in
the world.
Football analysts are of the
opinion that without Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi would have found it very
difficult to adapt to FC Barcelona’s style of football.
Fans of the Spanish giant have also indicated interest to have
Ronaldinho's heir on the team.
