It has come to the notice of the
management of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) that some unknown persons have been
making telephone calls to both the Bar Part 1 and Bar Part 2 students of the
Nigerian Bar Association who just concluded their examinations claiming to be
staffs of the institution.
They always proceed to state that
they had seen the grades of the students in some courses and that they failed.
They further claim that they can assist in changing the grades upon payment of
a sum of money into a bank account.
The general public is hereby
advised that these persons are fraudsters and are not staffs of the Nigerian
Bar Association. They have no affiliation whatsoever with the institution and
the information provided by them is unfounded, unwarranted and untrue as the
post examination processes are still ongoing.
Fraudsters had tried this scam in
the past and had greatly upset students and their parents. The general public
is notified that under no circumstance should they entertain these sleazy
overtures, please.
