JOHNRHODA, IN COLLABORATION WITH FIRSTBANK, UNVEILS BUSINESS AND PERSONAL FINANCE TV SHOW

We, at Tectono Business Review, have always advocated for a television station in Nigeria dedicated exclusively to Nigeria business programs, just like CNBC. We are happy to report that JohnRhoda Enterprise has partnered with First Bank of Nigeria Limited to launch the On-The-Money with JohnRhoda TV Show.

We gathered that this television show is well positioned to become Africa’s premier Business and Personal Finance Television Show providing unequalled educational, leadership, management and market value. It will also showcase companies and thought leaders from multinationals, SMEs, the entrepreneur & financial community in Nigeria, variety of businesses, products & services while educating and entertaining audiences across Africa and in diaspora.

We learnt that First Bank of Nigeria Limited is partnering with this program as part of its interventions to promote thought leadership and youth empowerment initiatives in the society.

A statement by the Group Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications of First Bank, Folake Ani-Mumuney, which was made available to Tectono Business Review, stated that the Bank would continue to support initiatives that will deliver relevant experiences and exceed the expectation of all stakeholders, adding that the show would be broadcasted on television and will also be available across mobile, social and digital platforms featuring some of the most innovative companies in the financial and business sector in Nigeria and other African markets.

Through its partners this new initiative will provide a robust user experience wherever they consume the content and will resonate with audiences who increasingly seek content on multiple devices.

The “On-The-Money with JohnRhoda” TV Show will be hosted by Michael Akindele, a media, technology and telecommunications entrepreneur with over 8 years’ experience in all aspects of communications, technology and media creation for various platforms.

It would be recalled that Michael Akindele was recently featured on Forbes.com as ‘The 30 Year-Old Nigerian Mobile Phone Entrepreneur Who Is Challenging Apple in Africa’. Michael continues to innovate in the media, technology and telecommunications space and has a passion for business and personal finance.
